A GIRL............
Her life is full of misery... Yet she is
charming. She suppresses all her fears and pains with a smile. She overcomes
hurdles with her own powers.
Anywhere
she goes, is greeted with cruel smiles, dirty looks and lewd comments. The word
“RESPECT”, doesn’t
exist in her life, still she respects others.
She is banned from wearing dresses of her own choice for
she is allowed to cover herself from head to toe.
Throughout her life she faces stereotypes and
discriminations, yet she is silent. She bears the sorrows as she doesn’t want
to disturb others.
Violence, disrespect, rapes, harsh words, dirty stares, are
all usual to her.
‘She is good if she gives all
her money to her so called “loving husband” she is bad if she doesn’t. She is
good if she gives birth to a boy and she is bad if she gives birth to a girl.’
This is how the society thinks of her.... Such a pity!!
She is the daughter, who earns money not for herself... but
for her parents.... she is a lover, who gives up everything in her life only
for her man... she is a mother, who will starve herself but feed her children.
Even though she is the most criticised and the most
discriminated in the society... still she is the toughest.
She would do any damn thing to help others, she is loyal, and
she is helpful.
She is everything... without her there will be no men (man=
whom the society respects more than required.) She gave birth to all the great
people on earth... yet she is not counted.
Even though she is ill... She never takes a day off.... she
has no rest at all. Still she doesn’t let anyone know that she is unwell for
she is concerned about her duties be it official or household! But if a man is
ill he is all ready to publish it in the newspaper or showcase it on BBC so
that his boss will let him take a day off! (Men I’m really sorry but I’m sure
that you guys can handle this small criticism as we women handle more criticisms
then you every day.)
A girl’s deepest fear and misery is that she is a victim of
eve teasing...
Just because these Idiotic Dirty Monsters (eve teasers), we
girls are not allowed to step out of the house after sunset!
I alone can’t remove these dirty stuffs from the society; I
need support of at least 100 ladies and 200 men.
I can no more bear to see my feelings and the feelings of
other girls like me hurt. I am stubborn and I know many other girls in every
corner of the country are stubborn to eliminate crime against women. And for
such a cause like this, all I need is SUPPORT from everybody.
Now at last I request all the men to respect women, value
her importance. AS A MAN IS NOT A MAN IF HE RAPES A
WOMAN, HE IS A MAN IF HE PROTECTS A WOMAN FROM RAPE....

I salute all the men who respect women,
protect them and value them!
I salute all the ladies who are really strong
and fight for their rights even if they are the victims of eve teasing....
